Ameristar's Pool, Pet & Play hardware consists of three items.  The safety latch is an ultimate child-resistant, self-engaging latch for gates at pools and childcare play areas.  The locking gravity latch is an attractive, economical latch for gates requiring reliable closure with keyed locks.  The spring hinges are adjustable-tension, self-closing hinges and are well suited to gates with the safety latch or locking gravity latch.

bolt-on hinges

Bolt-On Hinges are available individually or in kits with the fork latch and Ameristar Lock.  These hinges are recommended for gates weighing under 90 pounds.  They are good for your residential fence projects.

box hinges

Box Hinges are available individually or in kits with the fork latch and Ameristar Lock.  However, these hinges are recommended for gates weighing over 90 pounds.  The plated box hinge is for aluminum gates.  These can be used for your heavier fence applications.
 

180° adjustable ornamental gate hinges

There are four different 180 degree adjustable hinges that are available.  They are all available in black only and range from the residential hinge for gates weighing up to 120 pounds to the heavy industrial and security hinge for gate leaves weighing up to 3,000 pounds.  Kits are available with the strong arm latch for single and double gates.
