PassPort IS^®High Security Roll Gates

PassPort IS is an innovative roll gate system with a robust fabricated design. The PassPort roll gates 2” x 4” x 11ga. bottom rail and 2” SQ x 11ga. upright/diagonal framework enable the roll gate system to glide effortlessly across its on-grade track. The PassPort IS v-track gate system has 2-3/4” pales on its façade to match the style of the adjacent fence system.

Our PassPort IS (Impasse Security) Sliding Roll Gate is available with a proprietary corrugated Impasse® Shape, 2 3/4 -inch wide and 1/8-inch thick in Trident, Stronghold and Gauntlet styles. Two or three rail options are available.

PassPort IS Styles

TRIDENT STYLE

Trident style is made of high-tensile steel corrugated fence pales that rise above the topmost rail and terminate with a menacing triple-pointed splayed spear tip. The Impasse II palisade fence style provides a menacing visual deterrent.

STRONGHOLD STYLE

The blunt, slightly rounded tip of the Stronghold style offers strength where necessary, while providing safety for the general public. The Stronghold high security fence features the same structural configurations of its high security counterparts.

GAUNTLET STYLE

Gauntlet is designed with high-tensile steel corrugated pales that rise above the topmost rail with an outward curve and terminate with a triple pointed splayed spear tip. The outward curved pale discourages attempts to gain access by climbers. The Gauntlet palisade fence style is optimal when requiring an anti-climb or anti-scale fence system.

PassPort IS Safety

PASSPORT® FAMILY OF PRODUCTS SAFETY INFORMATION

All members of the PassPort Family of Roll Gates are supplied with 2” mesh safety screening in sufficient quantities to cover the entire gate and an equal portion of fence parallel to the gate in the open position up to a height of over 4 feet from ground elevation. This screening must be included when the PassPort Gate is installed at the jobsite. Additionally, all of the safety requirements of ASTM F2200 must be met during installation. Failure to incorporate the safety mesh or follow ASTM F2200 safety requirements during gate assembly and installation will cause rejection (under UL-325) of the entire gate system any time an attempt is made to attach the gate to an automatic gate operater. Ameristar assumes no responsibility for gate installations that fail to utilize the materials provided or meet the applicable safety standards.

Superior Design Strength

The PassPort family of roll gates' fully welded construction and use of 2” x 4” x 11ga. bottom rail give this V-track roll gate the durability and strength required for limitless gate cycles. The PassPort roll gate system utilizes the Permacoat double coating process. The steel substrate is subjected to the PermaCoat process, a complete thermal stratification (multi-stage, high-temperature, multi-layer) electrostatic powder coating application system of both epoxy and polyester. The coat of epoxy powder far surpasses the corrosion resisting abilities of painted surfaces. The "no-mar" polyester powder top coat dramatically increases weathering resistance (color and gloss retention) and reduces scratched and burnishing marks normally encountered during shipping.

Reversible Design

All members of the PassPort family of gates are designed with versatility in mind. The reversible design of the PassPort roll gate insures a flawless installation by allowing the gate to be installed on either side of the gate opening.
