Aegis II® was designed and engineered to give architects and developers an attractive vertical picket ornamental steel fence of the highest quality at an affordable price. These dual features of quality and affordability were achieved through state-of-the-art metal processing and powder coating technology. Ameristar's in-house tube mill facilitates production of the patented "Forerunner™ rails", as well as the steel pickets and posts for this industrial ornamental fence. The high-speed automated production of these G-90 galvanized fence components results in lower manufacturing costs and prompt delivery. The unique PermaCoat® (double layer) electrostatic powder coating process adds a superior maintenance-free finish in a range of colors. When compared to conventional systems framed to standard channels, Aegis II® with the patented Forerunner™ Double-walled "U" Channel Rail offers considerably greater strength due to its specially formed architectural shape.
